First day of Mother's Day Out!

Fritter started Mother's Day Out on Sept. 7 & we were both excited! :-) I had an Usborne Book Fair to do at a local preschool so the first day flew by for me & I was so excited to go pick her up! They said she did great & even took a 2 hour nap on the  nap mat I made her! I was really shocked about that one, but she is doing so good they say, so I'm so excited she is enjoying going to "school."

Eating breakfast before her first day of  MDO

Posing for Mommy
Yay! So excited & ready to go!

Once we got there she was a little leary, but has done better & better each day! She is so excited, until she gets to the door, but once she sees her teacher, friends, & toys, she runs right in! :-)

Football season is here!

Another fun thing that has been keeping me busy has been sewing LSU & Saint pillowcase dresses! We love both teams & so when I found this fabric I knew everyone else would too! I have had almost a dozen orders, so it has been exciting but busy!

We also have had fun being with family & watching the game! Here is Fritter playing out in my parents yard in her new LSU dress!
She wanted nothing to do inside where the game was playing, but was fine & content playing in the dirt the whole time! LOL
We got so busy & trying to keep all the little ones happy that we didn't get a big family picture like I had wanted, but we did attempt to get a pic of baby Nicholas & Fritter & this is the best we got! HA!
We'll have to try again another time! LOL

Can't wait to watch the upcoming season & hoping each team does great!
GEAUX Tigers & Saints! :-)

Playdate fun!

We have been on a number of fun playdates this summer with friends, but one of the new places we love is a new "Jump place" that is only minutes from our house, called In the Zone. Fritter loves it so much that anytime we leave to go anywhere she always asks, "We going to the Jump Place?" LOL

It is so fun & colorful & has 6 different fun jumping things & slides!

Running & playing with Gracie
My sweet, pretty, big girl! :-)

Getting ready to slide down...
She figured out a fast way! LOL :-)
Having lots of fun jumping!
Worn out & having a little water break!

We can't wait to go back to the "Jump Place!" :-)

Summer Houston Trip

In the middle of August, Fritter, my mom, & I went down to visit my sister, brother in law & sweet nephew in Houston. We have so much fun when we go visit because there are so many neat places to go there.

This trip we went to the Houston's Children's Museum & Fritter loved it! This will be a place we go for years to come because it was so big & there were so many great things to play with. We started off going into the little town & Fritter went to the bank:
Smiling with her debit card! lol
Pretending to be the bank teller!

Working at the news station:

 Riding in the police car:
Shopping in the grocery store! She loved it!

Being a waitress:
And playing in the fun Water Works area:

We had a great visit & also went to a fun shopping area called Old Town Springs in Spring, TX & it is like a little town of houses that are shops that you can go shop through. Very fun & I can't wait to go back!

I'm back! (I Promise...)

Oh  my! August flew by so quickly and now half of September is gone & I have gotten so bad at updating my blog. Lots of fun things have been going on and I just haven't sat to really update, so I'm going to make lots of different blog posts just for me to remember some of the past events that happened this summer, so if you're interested, pull up a chair & catch up on my busy life this past summer! :-)

We have had some busy days of play dates, house decorating, Usborne book selling, sewing, crafting, "school" starting, and getting ready for fun MOPS year.

So here we go...Let's catch up! :-)
