Fritter Funnies!

I wanted to jot down a few of the funny things that Fritter has been doing lately. I'm sure there are many more, but these are a few I wanted to remember! 2 years old is such a fun (yet trying) age! I love her trying to figure out new words & having little conversations with me! :-)

Here are a few of Fritter's recent funnies:

--When she hears classical music playing on her radio, she says, "That's Cinderella music!" LOL

--She now calls me "MOM"...I'm telling you..Two going on Thirteen! LOL

--When she wants a granola bar, she said, "I wanna a dinosaur bar!" ( I have no idea why! LOL)

--When she sees anything with sprinkles (cupcake, pop tart, ice cream, etc.), she starts singing "Happy Birthday!" So funny!

--She now says, "Hold on. Wait a minute." when you ask her a question about something! LOL She is deep in thought!

--Ever since seeing Toy Story 3, she has become obsessed with Buzz Lightyear. She talks about him all the time & he is her new best friend! I have walked in on her many times, chatting away with "Buzz". LOL

I will probably begin to do this regularly as I hear or see funny things she does/says. So, I hope this gives you a laugh! She is such mess! :-)

Catching up!

Yes, I'm still here!! Just SUPER busy!

I think this has been one of the busiest summers ever & it has flown by!

I had a great time at the Usborne Books National Convention & that is one reason that I have been so busy because I have so much energy & excitement now! I actually went and met with 2 preschools today & got their bookfairs set up for the Fall! I'm excited that I get to be the kids "book fairy" lady! :-)

I wanted to share some highlights of my trip, just for my sake to remember all the fun! :-)

Here's my friend, Lori & I at the Opening luncheon

Meeting Kimberly Greene, author of My Sister's a Pop Star (coming soon & so cute for pre-teen & teen girls) & Jez Alborough, author & illustrator of The Duck Series & the new Gobble Gobble Mooo Tractor Book! Very nice & talented people!

Smiling with my new friend, Adrienne from Nebraska! She is so sweet & supportive!
Smiling with Peter Usborne, founder of Usborne Books, who came in from the UK and signed the Animal Hide & Seek book for Anna! :-)
All dressed up for the Awards Banquet!
My great & (beautiful) team!

The whole team of such sweet & encouraging ladies that love spreading the love of literacy to children all over the country!

I had a great time, but was very excited to get back home to my husband & sweet Fritter girl! We have been catching up with housework, trips to the park, & trying to stay cool!

Have a great evening!
