Sweet bear

Today we woke up to 26 degree weather and snow flurries!! It was so fun to look outside and it look like a winter wonderland! (Ok, most of it was frost, but it was fun to think the snow was sticking! ;)) I had a doctor's appt. at 8:30, so Anna (aka: Fritter) and I had to fight the cold! I bundled her up in her cute little bear outfit (courtesy of Carter's mom :)). She loved being all bundled up and of course she posed for some cute pics! hehe!

Well I hope everyone had a warm, toasty day! I know we did! :)

Jumping Jellybean

Whew...This week has flewn by! Anna turned 9 months old last Saturday and she has been into everything! She is my little jumping jellybean! It is the funniest thing! Yesterday I put her in her bouncy seat (which I have found out she is a little too big for now!:)) to watch Sesame Street. After coming back in the living room from pouring my cereal, she was sitting straight up and bouncing so high in her bouncy seat! It was her own mini trampoline! It was quite humorous! (I took video of it, but I'm not quite sure how to get it from the little disc to my computer?!?) EDIT: I caught her in action and just had to post these pictures! HA!

She has been working on getting all her teeth in. From the week before Christmas she has cut almost 6 teeth!! She has all the top 4 and then 2 more are joining the 2 bottom ones...Needless to say, she hasn't been the nicest sometimes. Bless her heart! She also has learned to sit up in her bed, stick her legs through the slates, and hollar at me like she is in jail! :) She has her mommy wrapped around her little finger!..hehe!

Silly, Silly, Silly! I am so blessed and grateful to the Lord for giving me such a beautiful, sweet, and healthy baby girl!
I have been busy lately making some clothes for my new shop: The Fancy Fritter

Last night, I finished up this adorable little reversible pinafore top with cute ladybugs on it!

Well, off to tidy up while Anna naps! Have a great weekend!

P.S. Harper is improving by leaps and bounds! Praise the LORD! He is so good! Read her latest update here!

January Blog Carnival

For Blog Carnival this month, I'm supposed to tell a little bit about past or present Valentine's secrets or plans. I'm not really even sure about Valentine's this year. It is hard to believe that Valentine's Day is a little less than a month away! AHH!

One of my favorite Valentine's memories was from last year's Valentine's day. My church planned a Sweetheart dinner banquet and it was such a blast. We ate a great dinner at a fancy restaurant and everyone brought pictures of themselves when they were getting married or dating, so it was so much fun to see everyone on their special days. It was really fun seeing the older couples back in their younger days. We also played The Newlywed Game with all different couples from different years in their marriages and it was so funny to watch everyone's answers and then their spouses reactions. It turned out to be a very fun and special night.

This year I'm not quite sure what our Valentine's plans will be. Dinner out alone would be great b/c since Anna was born our date nights have been few and far between. It will definitely be a fun day with my sweet hubby though. I'm looking forward to it! :)

Featured Etsyblogger

This month's Featured EtsyBlogger is RoseWorks Jewelry. She has tons of beautiful earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. She also has plenty of items perfect for Valentine's Day coming up! She is also having a special that every 5th purchase based on my store numbers (so 50, 55, 60...) will receive a free prize!!! (Last time I checked she was at 49 sales, so hurry on over!)

Here are some of my favorites in her shop:

Everyone should go check out her shop! It's www.roseworksjewelry.etsy.com and you can see her blog www.roseworksjewelry.blogspot.com.
Have a great day!

A Special Request & Winner Announcement

The giveaway is over and I just want to thank everyone that entered! Giveaways are so fun and I can't wait to have more in the future. I did a random number generator on the 16 qualifying comments and #12 was selected and that is Donna! Congratulations!! Thank you all so much again for entering.

On another note, I just wanted to ask everyone to keep Kelly Stamps and her family in your prayers. Kelly is a blogger friend and I love reading her blog. She lives in Northwest Arkansas and I have been watching her for months now get all ready for her sweet baby girl Harper to arrive. She went in to be induced yesterday morning and Harper was born at 7:03pm last night weighing 9lbs 12 oz., but had developed pneumonia and was immediately transported to Tulsa Children's Hospital. I have constantly been checking Kelly's blog and for awhile there they thought she would have to have a heart/lung bypass, but the latest WONDERFUL news is that she is responding to what the dr.'s have given her and she is not having to go on the bypass list. "The Lord is near to to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth."~ Psalm 145:18, so please draw near to the Lord and petition for the health of this sweet baby girl. God is already proving His faithfulness to Kelly and her family through the wonderful improvement that Harper is making, but they are still asking for prayer. If you would like to read, more you can click the link at the top right hand corner of my blog and it will take you straight to Kelly's.

Well have a great Saturday. I'm working on tons of fun outfits for The Fancy Fritter, so I'll try to post as soon as they are up.

Meet my new friend Vick...

Whew...This week has flown by, or for me I could say "blown" by. Hehe! I have had a severe cold all week, so needless to say I have been miserable. I had a cold a week before Christmas and finally went to the dr. for him only to tell me that he couldn't give me a shot b/c I am still nursing and it could effect my milk supply. So I got better the week of Christmas and then BAM! Sunday it was back and with a vengence. I have been buried in klennex and lathered in Vicks the past few days...lol...I am starting to feel better but I'm still dealing with this nasty cough.

On a lighter note, I got some new patterns in the mail last weekend and I'm dying to get back to my sewing machine. I may cut the pieces out tonight and get back to it b/c the fabric is just sitting there staring at me. I can't wait to create this outfit for Anna. Of course, being my daughter she is my test model before I actually will sell them. If I like it on her then I know someone would love it on their sweet daughter. I love Sandi Henderson's fabrics and her patterns. I have had my eye on them all year, so immediately when I got some fun money for Christmas I knew these were going to be some of my first purchases. I started off with the Claire pattern and the Ruffle pants. It should be such a cute outfit. I'm going to make the peasant top to match the ruffle capri pants for Anna to wear this Spring and Summer. Aren't these the cutest!?!

I have 3 friends that a currently pregnant and 2 of them are having boys but my best friend is having a little girl in May and naming her Avery. I'm so excited to start making fun things for her! :) I can't wait until she is here and to see her precious face! :) I know her mommy won't mind if Aunt Stacy spoils her with fun outfits, huh?
Well, off to fold laundry..fun, fun! Have a great weekend!
